What is the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) Program?

The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) aims to keep Australians aged 65 and over independent and in their own homes and participating in the wider community for as long as possible.

Previously known as the HACC program, CHSP funds a range of services.

CHSP funding through Alliance covers the following services:

Personal Care

  • Eating
  • Bathing
  • Toileting
  • Dressing
  • Grooming
  • Moving about the home

Domestic Assistance

  • Cleaning
  • Dishwashing
  • Clothes washing and ironing
  • Unaccompanied shopping

Access to CHSP services is through My Aged Care on 1800 200 422
