Rhett Kentwell

Chief Executive Officer

Bachelor of Nursing, UOW, Masters of Commerce, UNSW

Rhett has 20 years’ experience in the health, medical device and recruitment and community care sectors across a range of executive management roles including chief operating officer for global orthopaedics and to the current position of four years as Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Health.

Rhett leads the strategic business planning process to build partnerships and collaborations that enhance and expand Alliance Health’s reach and reputation, and provide the cultural leadership that sets the standards for operating excellence.

This approach has seen the business introduce adjacent service offerings, such as an on-hire labour agreement, workplace vaccinations, and increased its footprint to recruit nursing and healthcare professionals from Ireland and the UK.

As a former nurse, with experience in major hospitals in Australia and the UK, Rhett has an inside perspective on the needs of the health sector and understands the importance of recruiting qualified candidates who can add value to the organisations he recruits for.

Rhett has donated his time to the Sydney Children’s Hospital Committee, Canteen and Camp Quality, having personally seen the fantastic work these organisations do and the positive impact they have on sick children.

Sue Cudmore

Managing Director

Bachelor of Nursing, USYD, Masters of Public Health, UNSW

Sue is a founding director of Alliance Health bringing over 25 years’ experience as a registered nurse working in community nursing, hospital nursing, paediatric and neonatal intensive care, aged care nursing and quality management to the business.

Sue participates in all aspects of the organisation’s operations with a focus on quality management and the community aged care and disability sectors.

Sue is an advocate for community care and consumer choice and participates actively in sector development initiatives and discussions.

She has been awarded a scholarship to participate in the Disability Sector Leadership Program, funded by the National Disability Services and the Department of Families and Community Services- Ageing Disability & Home Care.

Sue has been instrumental in implementing other disability and community aged care and community nursing programs at Alliance Health, most recently the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Sue is currently the Deputy Chair of the Association of Private Nursing Services and participates on a number of industry reference and steering groups.

Cameron O’Neill

Chief Financial Officer

Cameron is a chartered accountant who has 8 years’ experience in accounting and finance and has been with Alliance Health since 2011.

He currently sits on our Audit & Risk Committee and prior to joining Alliance Health, Cameron was working in a mix of business advisory and CFO consulting roles.

Cameron has seen Alliance Health through the transition of the ADHC funding from the Attendant Care Program to the Community Support Program and has designed our client budgeting & reporting tools.

He has also developed the funds management policies for our HACC government funding which have been signed off by our external financial auditors, during the preparation of our end of year financials.

Kate Gormley

Recruitment & Operations Manager

With 15 years of experience within Recruitment, Human Resources and Business Development, with 10 of those specifically within the health industry, Kate brings extensive knowledge and understanding to Alliance Health.

Kate has been employed with Alliance Health since 2008 and her responsibilities include recruitment management; sourcing placing and retaining permanent and casual staff; operations management, labour hire management and team leadership.

Kate has a high level of marketing and business development exposure and expertise, including customer relations and retention, compliance and risk management.

Peter Hurkett

Home Care Manager

With over 30 years’ experience working in the health and community sector which has included acute care, mental health and community nursing, as well as drug and alcohol and forensic nursing all in both clinical and management roles.

As the Homecare Manager, Peter is responsible for managing and delivering Alliance Health’s aged care community programs, including the full suite of our Disability Support and Aged Care offerings.

Peter has also worked in customer service and quality management at the Australian Council on Health Care Standards.
